Michael Clark

MICHAEL Clark, a HGV driver, of Essex Way, Bourne, died tragically in a car crash on his way to work, aged 32.

He was the only son of Roy and Glynis Clark and was educated at Bourne Westfield and Robert Manning Schools.

On leaving school he worked at Bourne Laundry and after passing his driving test at the age of 17 became a delivery driver. At the age of 21 he gained his HGV class 2 and worked with his dad at Tim Dighton Transport. He later gained his HGV Class 1 and worked as a tanker driver delivering cement, until his untimely death.

Michael loved spending time with his family especially annual holidays with his parents, sister and family. He loved being an uncle to his nephew Joseph and where you found one, you usually found the other.

He leaves his parents Glynis and Roy, sister and brother-in-law Emma and Lino, nephew Joseph, grandparents Alan and Mary and Nan Kath.

The funeral took place at Marholm Crematorium, Major Richard Durrant officiating. The coffin travelled on the back of his Tim Dighton tractor unit, which he had spent a lot of his working life in. The service was followed by a celebration for his life with his friends and family at Martin Court, Werrington.
