Susan Dewey

THE funeral service for Susan Dewey, who died aged 54 after a long and brave battle with cancer, took place at St Firmin’s Church, Thurlby, Canon Janet Beadle officiating.

Susan, of Maple Avenue, Turlby, was the youngest of three children born to Douglas and Violet Amis, of Sustead, Cromer, Norfolk, where she lived and worked until marrying Brian.

She devoted her life to looking after Lynda, who is handicapped, and still provided a loving home to husband Brian and Louise.

She enjoyed all kinds of handicrafts, reading and gardening.

She faced cancer bravely, never complaining, and battled to live with courage and dignity.

She will be sadly missed and leaves husband Brian, daughters Lynda and Louise and Louise’s partner Glynn West.
