Open event at Rutland County Counil to learn more about standing for election

Rutland County Council is offering prospective parish and county councillor candidates the chance to learn more about the process of standing for election at a special open event on Tuesday, February 24.

May’s elections could see all 26 of Rutland’s County Council seats contested, along with all parish council seats throughout the county.

The open event will be held at the council’s Catmose offices in Oakham, 6pm on February 24.

This event is free to attend and open to anyone. To register your interest, e-mail elections@rutland.gov.uk or call 01572 720954.
