Members of the Royal British Legion Bourne branch were recognised for their years of outstanding service at the branches annual dinner.
A group of 45 members from branch attended including some members of the women’s section.
The main event of the evening was the presentation of a gold badge to branch vice president Tim Bladon for more than 30 years of service to the branch.
It was followed by the presentation of county certificates to David Staples and Nobby Middleton who were recognised for their outstanding service to the branch for 12 years as secretary and vice secretary.
A branch certificate was awarded to Bourne mayor David Higgs for his past service as branch chair and parade marshal.
The Bourne detachment of the Army Cadet Force, which was affliated with the group 10 years ago, also received a branch certificate in recognition of their work.
Each year the army cadets help with the annual poppy appeal collection and provide a standard bearer for Remembrance Sunday and other ceremonial events.
All presentations were made by branch president Maj Simon Turner.
