Needlecraft group makes donation to Stamford's Parkinson's Support Group

The Stamford Parkinson’s Support Group has received a cheque for £400 from the Stamford Lace and Needlecraft Group.

The group, which provides support to people suffering from the disease in Stamford and the surrounding area, were the lace and needlecraft group’s chosen charity for last year.

Elizabeth Knowles, support group chairman, said: “The donation was for our funds and was gratefully received.

“As well as supporting people with Parkinson’s disease, we also give some of it to Parkinson’s UK to fund their research and support.”
