Police increase patrols to tackle drug-taking and anti-social crimes at Cutts Close Park in Oakham

Crime patrols have been stepped up at a park in a bid to reduce anti-social behaviour.

Drug-taking, rowdiness and loud swearing have been reported in the Cutts Close Park area of Oakham since lockdown measures eased and police officers have responded by having an increased presence in the area.

PC Pete Icke from Rutland Police said: "We've had reports of anti-social behaviour and use of controlled substances such as cannabis, with young people making others who use the park feel uncomfortable.
