People are invited to help set police priorities at meeting in the Deepings and Uffington

Police are inviting people to a meeting in the Deepings on Tuesday at 7pm.

The Market Deeping and District Neighbourhood Policing Team meeting will be at The Open Door Church, 5 Spalding Road, Deeping St James.

During the public forum form 7pm to 7.30pm people have the chance to talk about concerns and ideas for possible inclusion in the police priorities.

The meeting follows a spate of teen anti-social behaviour and crime in the Deepings.

In February there were 69 crimes reported in Market Deeping and Uffington.

Of these, violence and sexual offences were the most common, with 34 reported crimes, while anti-social behaviour accounted for 10 reports made to police.
