People of all ages, backgrounds and beliefs attended the Fun With Faith event in Stamford on Saturday.

The event, held between 10am and 5pm on the town’s recreation ground, was organised by Stamford Churches Together.

Heavy rain during the morning meant visitor numbers were lower than expected but as the weather improved later in the day, so did the turnout. Fun With Faith featured art, face painting, a bouncy castle, games such as tug of war and rounders, Messy Church and more.

There was also live music on the main stage, from the likes of rap band Jelz Music and mime artist Steve Murray.

A spiritual space gave those who wished to sit and a pray somewhere to do so, along with a place to chat about life’s big questions.
