Pest control course hosted by South Kesteven District Council to support food-related businesses

A new pest control course hosted by South Kesteven District Council is set to support businesses involved with food.

The three-hour session, Effective Pest Management in the Food Sector, is being run in both Stamford and Grantham.

SKDC food health and safety officer Christian Polzin said: “Having a pest control contractor visit your premises regularly is only part of effective pest management in food businesses. This course will help staff at all levels learn how to spot the first signs of an infestation and take quick action to prevent it becoming a major problem.”
