Peterborough man dies in River Welland in Crowland


A Peterborough man has died after entering the River Welland in Crowland.

Ambulance and police services were called to the scene at 10.50am following reports of a man in the River Welland.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man is believed to be from the Peterborough area and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident, which is not being treated as suspicious.
