Photo competition: Searching for a Super Star 2013

If you are the parent of a young person aged 6-12 years who likes to pull a funny face, has got the look of a cheeky monkey or just makes you smile then don’t miss your chance to enter our Super Star photo competition!

The Rutland and Stamford Mercury winner will appear in our special final feature and enjoy their moment of smiley star status!

How To Enter

You can send in entries for as many children as you wish but please only submit one entry (and one image) per child.

The photo should be a good quality close up shot of your ‘super star’ on their own, without any other people, animals or large objects in the picture.

Email your photo to

Please include in the email your child’s name and age (at the time of the entry) with your name, address, daytime phone number and mobile number.

The subject of the e-mail needs to be ‘Super Stars Competition’ One email per entrant only. If entering multiple children, please send one e-mail per child.

Please follow these instructions closely to ensure your child appears in the competition.

The closing date for entries is midnight on Sunday, 26 May 2013.

After this closing date, entries will appear in a colourful feature in the Rutland and Stamford Mercury (date to be announced) – not to be missed!

Our readers will then be asked to vote for their favourite to be crowned our young Super Star for 2013!
