Baby born at Sugar Mill pub during lockdown

Landlords Tom and Sian Bellis are used to taking deliveries of beer, but with their pub in lockdown the latest pint-sized arrival came as a considerable surprise.

Sebastian, the couple’s second son, had been due for a hospital birth but arrived with such speed, he had to be delivered at the Sugar Mill pub in Bourne.

“My contractions began at about 8pm” said Sian, whose pregnancy had gone several days over her due date.
