Play golf in Rutland to help charity

GOLFERS will be able to raise funds for a cancer charity just by playing a round.

Rutland County Golf Club is taking part in Macmillan’s Big Golf Drive on August 24.

The club is offering tee times to buy at Proceeds from the tee times will go straight to the charity.

Macmillan golf programme manager Claire Driscoll said: “Getting involved in the Big Golf Drive is a really simple, fun way to play the game of golf whilst making a big difference to the lives of people affected by cancer.

“Help us make this year’s event a success by booking your tee time today.”
