Plenty of nostalgia at Armed Forces Day in Market Deeping

The Langtoft, Deeping and Districts Royal British Legion branch is holding its third annual Armed Forces Day at John Eve Field in Market Deeping on Saturday.

Thousands are expected to turn-out for an exciting day full of nostalgia and military history, planned to take place from 10am to 4pm.

Events will include a performance from a George Formby tribute act with 1940s dancers, Roman re-enactment camp, Peterborough Highland Pipe Band, Military convoy, Battle of Britain memorial flyover, 5jays dog display and an appearance from Royal Marine Cassidy Little, who will open the event at 10am, which is free to attend.

Other attractions include fairground, bouncy castle, beer tent and food outlets.
