Plenty on at the Stamford Corn Exchange next week
Hold onto your socks, take the banana out of your ears and enjoy the best comedy for kids at Stamford Corn Exchange on Sunday October 20.
The Funny World Of Stand-Up Comedy 4 Kids is a show for children, their parents and anyone who likes comedy without the rude words.
Invented and presented by comedian and author, James Campbell, the show will find The Funny Things about everything including pets, couscous, spaniels, making your own yoghurt, bees, why we have hair and will answer questions such as: “Do sausage dogs eat sausages?
Or do they just look at them and say, “I’m not eating that - it looks like my grannie.”
The show starts at midday and is suitable for children aged six years and above.
The exciting and diverse programme of events continues at Stamford Corn Exchange with Ralph McTell’s Hill Of Beans Tour at 7.30pm on Sunday, October 20 and performances by the English Youth Ballet from Wednesday, October 23 to Friday, October 25.
Ralph McTell is one of the great storytellers and is known for his virtuoso guitar style.
He is primarily a prolific and gifted songwriter with a style that invites you into a unique world.
The English Youth Ballet is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and has established a formidable reputation for classic and dramatic productions of the famous classical ballets.
The show will include Sleeping Beauty - Aurora’s Wedding and Ballet Etudes - a one act homage to classical ballet training.
