Get into the festive spirit at Bourne's Christmas Fair and lights switch-on on Saturday




Bourne Magical Christmas Fair and lights switch-on will be held on Saturday, November 30.

The town centre and Corn Exchange car park will be packed with stalls, fairground rides and entertainment for all ages. Santa and his elves will be welcoming visitors to the grotto at Wake House where there will also be a photographic exhibition and the opportunity to meet the glamourous party princesses. The Town Hall will also be open.

Nextgen, school choirs, Tuneless Choir, Tabi And The Lords Of The Good Sea Otters, and LDC Dance will perform on the main stage while The Ukulele Band, Kevin Fisher and Ben Coats, Archy Lewis, Tabi Gervis, Seren and Dom Brister will provide the entertainment in the acoustic gazebo.

Father Christmas and Bourne Mayor will switch on the Christmas lights at 4.30pm and the event will close at 5pm.

Bourne Magical Christmas Fair and Lights Switch-On has been organised by Bourne Events Team.

A popular shopping event will also be held in Bourne Corn Exchange on Saturday from 10.30am to 5pm.

Visitors will be able to browse the huge variety of stalls and sit and relax in the warm with hot and cold refreshments. Toilet facilities will be available.

Visitors will be welcomed at Bourne Methodist Church Christmas Tree Festival from 10am to 6pm on Saturday and on Sunday from midday to 4pm, followed by Christmas Songs of Praise.
