Police seek help following another theft in Stamford

Stamford police have appealed for help in tracing a person following a theft in the town.

The incident took place at Waitrose, although no date was provided for when it happened.

In a Tweet, police said: "Can you help identify this person?

"We would like to speak to them regarding a theft at Waitrose, Stamford.

"Please ring 101 quoting 18000273206 or inbox this page privately- thank you!"

Last week police appealed for assistance in tracing a man following a theft from Sainsbury's.

Police issued two images of the man in a Tweet along with a request for anyone who can identify him to contact them.

In one image the man can be seeing walking with a shopping basket while in the other he appears to be leaving the store carrying a number of items.

The Tweet, which was issued on Tuesday, June 11, reads: “Can you help to identify the male below?

“Police need to speak to him regarding a theft from Sainsbury’s, Stamford on 05/06/18.

“Please call 101 quoting reference 18000258447.”
