Police at supermarkets in Stamford and Bourne to speak to people about the murder of Lound man Alan Wood on 10th anniversary

Police are at Sainsbury's and Morrisons in Stamford today (Wednesday, October 23) to try and solve the murder of Alan Wood.

Ten years have passed since Alan Wood was tortured and killed at his home in Lound near Bourne but his family still don't know who was responsible.

His grieving mother and the police officer investigating the crime made an emotional new appeal last week.

Police have continued to investigate the murder and Mr Wood's employer, Sainsbury's, has offered a £40,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

Tomorrow, police will continue their enquiries at Tesco, Sainsbury's and the Burghley Centre in Bourne.
