Leicestershire Police's Road Policing Unit conduct Fatal Four Traffic Operation in Oakham, Rutland

Twenty motorists were pulled over for traffic offences during a one-day patrol.

Leicestershire Police's Road Policing Unit carried out a "fatal four" operation in Oakham yesterday (May 27), to combat speeding, drink driving, mobile phone use and driving without seatbelts.

Of the 20 offences reported by police, 12 related to drivers not wearing a seatbelt.

Other offences included drug driving, no insurance and using mobile phones.

One person was also arrested for drug possession
