Police thank people and business in Stamford, Rutland, Bourne and the Deepings for being responsible

Police have thanked people for following the new rules put in place to reduce risk of coronavirus transmission.

Pubs and bars across the area now have to close at 10pm, people have been told once again to work from home where possible and gathering in groups of more than six is banned.

Rachel Blackwell, operational policing inspector for Stamford, Bourne and the Deepings, said: “Since the new regulations came into force we have been encouraged to see that local residents have been largely adhering to the new rules.
