Farmers in Lincolnshire are being warned by police to lock up their tractors, particularly older models which are easy targets.

Lincolnshire Police wildlife officer Nick Willey says older tractors are easy to start and easy to repair, but still an asset to the farm.

NFU Mutual says after use, tractors should be returned to secured buildings or yards where possible – and urges farmers to safeguard their more expensive machines with tracking devices.
