Police name victims of fatal A606 collision


Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to a fatal accident on the A606 near Langham, Rutland on Christmas Day after naming the two victims.

The collision happened at about 8.50am on the A606 Oakham Road in Cold Overton, near Langham, and involved a Ford C-Max and a Toyota Auris.

A 51-year-old man, who was driving the Toyota, and a 48-year-old woman, who was driving the Ford, were pronounced dead at the scene.

They have been named by police as Mark Price, from Rothley, and Lynda Anne Wade, from Melton Mowbray.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision.
