Police would like to speak to any businesses or property owners who have been affected by a spate of graffiti in Stamford and not yet informed the police




Following a spate of graffiti appearing around Stamford on Wednesday (September 4) last week, police would like to speak to anyone else who has suffered from the vandalism.

Graffiti appeared around in town at numerous locations in the evening including the Stamford Post Pub, parking metres on Bath Row, London Inn handryers, the gates and stonework of Stamford School on St Paul's Street and St George's Church.

Inspector Rachel Blackwell, neighbourhood policing inspector for Stamford, Bourne and the Deepings, said: "If you have not reported any damage to us, the please get in touch because we have identified an individual and we need to make sure they are held accountable for all the damage that has been caused."

Call Lincolnshire Police on 101 with incident number 331 of September 4.
