A number of fridges and freezers have been dumped along a road on the outskirts Stamford.
The appliances, which have been discarded on a verge by the side of Little Casterton Road, were spotted by Greg Moore yesterday (Sunday).
Greg, of Banks Cresent, Stamford, was taking his own broken fridge to a tip site in Bourne, when he saw the mess.
The appliances are next to a sign warning people of a maximum fine of £2,000 for fly-tipping.
Mr Moore said: “Surely people are not this stupid are they?
“The area where they are is part of an entrance to what is the old quarry along that road. Many kids play there and people take dogs for walks so to see all this rubbish here is a real shame and disappointment.
“I don’t get it at all as to get them here in the first place they would have had to load them into a car, van or trailer anyway, so why not just go to the council tip?
“Some people just do not care about others at all and really need reporting to the police. There are signs up along that road about tipping of rubbish but obviously people can not read.”
It is believed the land is privately owned and will therefore be the responsibility of the landowner to remove the appliances.
