The Burghley Street car park in Bourne will be closed for two weeks.

The east side, beside Fovia, will be closed from 6am Tuesday until 6am on Tuesday, June 4, while the west side remains open.

The following week, from 6am on June 4 until 6am on June 11, the larger car park on the west side behind the post office, will be closed and the east side car park will reopen.

The closure is due to work taking place at the Wherry’s Lane site as part of South Kesteven District Council’s redevelopment.

Property development manager Neil Cucksey said: “We apologise for any inconvenience this causes residents and visitors to the town. However essential works including relining needs to be carried out.”
