COUNCILS in the area have been told how much their core Government funding will be cut by next year.
Lincolnshire County Council has had its funding from the Government cut by 2.7 per cent while Rutland County Council has been cut by 2.18 per cent.
East Northamptonshire District Council has been cut by 2.18 per cent.
These are all below the average of 4.4 per cent.
South Kesteven District Council has also been cut by 6.8 per cent and Peterborough City Council has been told to cut by 4.81 per cent.
These cuts are part of a plan to cut central funding to local authorities over the next four years.
The announcement was made in the House of Commons on Monday by communities secretary Eric Pickles.
No authority has been cut by more than 8.9 per cent for the next three years.
