PAST mayors, mayoresses and consorts gathered for a lunch in the sun.
A total of 20 former leaders of Stamford Town Council attended a past mayor’s lunch at Burghley Park Golf Club. The lunch is usually an annual occasion, but was returning this year after a hiatus in 2011. Cedric Cadman, who was mayor of Stamford in 1999/2000, said: “The lunch went very successfully. The food was delicious and was enjoyed by everyone who attended.”
