OAKHAM Town Council is asking for feedback on its £50,000 plans for a new playarea.
The council is proposing to redevelop the toddlers’ play area at Royce’s Playing Field in Princess Avenue, Oakham, and has had a number of designs put forward by play equipment manufacturers.
The plans are available to view in the council offices in the Victoria Hall, Oakham, and members are hoping for feedback from parents, carers and even children themselves on which they think would be best.
The council intends to borrow the money for the new play equipment from the Public Works Loan Board.
The plans can be viewed from 10am to 2pm Monday to Thursday.
They will also be on display at Royce Playing Field on Saturday, April 14, from 10am to 2pm.
The consultation will close on April 27.
