A MEETING to discuss the transport section of Stamford’s town plan will be held at 7pm tonight (Monday).

Stamford Town Council had intended to discuss the town plan, including the need for a relief road, following the Skells Trust meeting.

But the town plan is now due to be discussed beforehand, starting at 7pm in the court room, for an hour.

If people who attend support the idea of a relief road, it will be included in the town plan, which looks and issues in the town and highlights what the town council would like to be done by 2026.

It is sent to South Kesteven District Council and Lincolnshire County Council, which are asked to take the town council’s views on board.
