SOUTH Kesteven District Council approved freezing its share of the council tax budget at a meeting today (Thursday).
Council leader Linda Neal (Con) has promised that frontline services will continue to be delivered despite the freeze.
The district council had its Government grant reduced by £2.25m over the last two years.
Coun Neal said: “We have developed a long term strategy to help see the district safely through this recession, developing building blocks as a base for future economic regeneration and driving home the fact that this is a well run district and a good place to live and work.”
