South Kesteven has been named in the top two local authorities in England for residents’ happiness.
The Office for National Statistics revealed the results of its Annual Population Survey on Wednesday.
More than 165,000 people were surveyed between April 2012 and March this year and asked how happy they felt.
Leader of South Kesteven District Council Linda Neal (Con) was delighted.
She said: “It’s great news that the district has been named so favourably in these survey findings.”
