Acclaimed writer and pioneer feminist Germaine Greer takes to the stage at Stamford’s Arts Centre on Thursday, November 12 to talk about an environmental challenge that dominated 15 years of her life.

Australian Greer, author of books such as the groundbreaking title The Female Eunuch, will be discussing her ambitious work to restore 150 acres of abandoned farmland in Queensland back to rainforest, a project whose story is told in her 2013 book White Beech, the rainforest years.

Tickets for the talk at the Arts Centre are priced at £20 each and are available through the website www.newnetworksfornature.org.uk
