Princess presents award

STAMFORD High School pupil Stephanie Fenn has received an award for her GCSE Food and Nutrition work from the Princess Royal.

The Princess is patron of the British Nutrition Foundation which runs an annual award scheme recognising the highest GCSE and A-level marks obtained by students throughout the UK and the hard work of their teachers.

Stephanie and her home cconomics teacher Tessa Bennie attended a ceremony at the Royal College of Physicians in London where they were presented with framed certificates as well as a £50 prize for Stephanie and a £100 prize for the school.

Tessa Bennie commented: “We are very proud of Stephanie’s achievement, which reflects all the hard work she has put in.”
