The proceeds of a charity stall and raffle held in Uppingham have been handed over.

Adele Ginn, above left, and Linda Hanraads, handed the £700.77 raised to Ella Steward, centre, a volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Society.

Prizes for the raffle were kindly donated by many local businesses in Uppingham and were displayed in the Falcon Hotel leading up to the day of the stall.

Linda, whose mum has Alzheimer’s disease, will be doing the Ben Nevis Midnight Challenge, on July 3 to raise more money.
