A pub which has been closed for a year will be reopening soon according to its social media.

In November last year, Lincolnshire Police had called for tougher measures on the Masons Arms in South Street, Bourne, following a series of incidents including violence, underage sales and breaches of Covid-19 guidance.

This was withdrawn when the licence was taken over by Star Pubs and Bars, the pub business of Heineken UK.

A spokesman for Star Pubs and Bars said: "We are finalising agreements for a licensee to take over the Masons Arms and will announce details in due course. "

No date has been announced for when it will reopen.
