Public welcome at St Leonard’s Priory

Have your say

A historic building will be open to the public for a special coffee morning.

Stamford Civic Society will open the doors of St Leonard’s Priory, in Priory Street, Stamford, from 10.30am to midday on Saturday next week.

The society will offer tea and coffee to visitors and hopes to set up a display of its work around the town.

The Rev Canon Donald Gray will lead a dedication service for a new mulberry tree at the site.

And members of the society will be on hand to talk about the priory’s history.
