Sixth form prefects at Stamford Endowed Schools have completed their challenge to travel the distance of the English Channel in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity.
Cumulatively the 48 participating pupils have walked, run and cycled far beyond their original targetof 576km, achieving over 1000km before the end of the school summer term.
So far more than £1,000 has been raised for The Fire Fighters Charity - a cause that was chosen following a fire that devastated the roof of the principal's house at Stamford School on June 12.
