Stamford School's lower school engineering club have won a trophy for a model bridge.

The club, made up of 10 pupils from years eight and nine, competed against other schools from across the area as part of the Grantham Bridge project that saw a temporary bridge built in the town centre.

Held on September 25, the aim of the competition was to design and construct a miniature bridge that could withstand as heavy a weight as possible but also be the lightest in weight.
