Radioactive waste campaigners lose High Court battle

CAMPAIGNERS have lost a legal battle to overturn a decision to allow low-level radioactive waste to be dumped in their village.

The judge in London’s High Court upheld the decision by the Secretary of State to allow Augean to dump low level radioactive waste at the East Northants Resource Management Facility in Stamford Road, King’s Cliffe.
