The Rainbows section of the Rutland Division of Girlguiding joined the Leicestershire Rainbows to take part a fun-filled event called “Rainbows Roar”.

The event was held on June 14 at the Girlguiding Topstones camping facility near Billesdon, and was attended by about 300 girls in total.

Fair weather along with activities, games and other entertainment made for an excellent day shared by all.

Rainbows is a section dedicated to younger girls aged between five and seven and not only aims to develop self-confidence but allows the girls to make new friends, learn new skills and, most importantly, have fun.

Hands-on activities such as arts and crafts and events such as the Rainbows Roar enable rainbows to learn and relax together.
