Stamford Minor Injuries Unit has treated less patients since it reopened but is not at risk of closure

Health bosses are reassuring patients that Stamford's minor injuries unit isn't at risk of closure.

The service at Stamford Hospital was suspended during the pandemic while staff were redeployed to Peterborough City Hospital.

It reopened on October 1 and although patient numbers have dropped since then, the service is not under threat.
