A recap of a 20-mile assault course held at Burghley House in May has been shown on television for the first time.
A 25-minute programme about the Rat Race Dirty Weekend, which took place on May 11, aired on Channel 4 yesterday morning (Sunday).
More than 5,000 runners battled tough obstacles and driving rain as they undertook one of the biggest challenges of their lives in the grounds of the stately home.
Billed as the world’s toughest obstacle course, people could choose to take part in a 13-mile route or a 20-mile route.
And those who braved the conditions were treated to a festival set from Ocean Colour Scene.
The programme can still be seen on the 4oD on demand service.
