Record-breaking year for Lincolnshire’s CallConnect bus

Rising passenger numbers have fuelled another record-breaking year for Lincolnshire County Council’s CallConnect bus service.

The rural bus service saw passenger figures rise to more than 322,000 in 2014, the biggest annual total since the service launched nearly 15 years ago. It represents a 5 per cent growth in passenger numbers compared to 2013.

The service operates 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday, and 8am to 6pm on Saturdays in Stamford and Peterborough.
