Refurbished store set to reopen today


Central England Co-operative is opening the doors to its refurbished food store in Oakham, today.

Retired town crier, Lewis Carlin, will officially open the foodstore along with students from English Martyrs Academy.

The foodstore has had considerable investment to enhance the shopping experience for its members and customers, with new features and services unveiled, including a fish counter, Pick of the Crop, local produce and the introduction of retail partner, M&Co.

The improved food store has created 14 new jobs for the local community.
