Potential voters in next month’s European Union (EU) referendum have under three weeks to register ahead of the vote on June 23.
The warning has come from South Kesteven District Council (SKDC) two weeks after about 21 per cent of Lincolnshire voters chose Marc Jones as the county’s new Police and Crime Commissioner.
A SKDC spokesman said: “If you received a Poll Card for the Police and Crime Commissioner elections and have not moved house since then, you are already registered and there is no more to do.
“But if a Poll Card has not arrived by Thursday, May 26, then it is likely that you are not registered and have until Tuesday, June 7, to do so.”
