South Kesteven District Council.

South Kesteven District Council is reminding residents to use the council’s home collection service to correctly dispose of bulky household items or to donate to charity.

Residents can request the service by calling 01476 40 60 80 to arrange for a specific home collection which is charged at £12 for the first item and £6 each for all other items.

Once payment has been made, SKDC will collect the item from outside a property on a day agreed with residents.

Fridges and freezers are charged separately at £12 each.

The council is also unable to collect radiators, builder’s rubble, bricks, concrete, paving slabs or garden furniture.

All bulky collections will be carried out by employees wearing an SKDC jacket and driving a marked vehicle.

Alternatively use the recycling centre in Bourne.
