The district council is continuing to work with dog owners to reduce fouling and is urging those who witness others allowing their pets to foul to report it online.

Anyone can report dog fouling at www.south kesteven.gov.uk

The council said it is aware that most dog owners are responsible and educate fellow owners to always pick up after their dogs in public spaces.

Dog fouling signs are present across the district, warning owners of their responsibilities to pick up after their animals. Those who fail to do so could be hit with a £75 fine.

If owners can provide details of the fellow dog owners who choose to not follow the rules, this should be reported on the website.

Owners are also reminded that their pets’ waste can be placed in litter bins in the district – as long as it is bagged.
