Browning Court celebrated its 10 year anniversary last week with an afternoon tea for staff and residents.

The luxury retirement complex in Bourne opened its doors in 2008 and consists of 45 luxury apartments that are home to residents aged from 60 to 101 years old.

Manager Shirley Johnson said the event held on June 27 had been attended by regional director Helen Morrell, staff members and 30 residents.

“One person said it was like having a Harrods afternoon tea,” said Shirley.

“It was a huge success and Helen thanked everyone for coming and expressed her appreciation to the staff for their hard work.”
