Ketton artist Lucy Cade set for comeback exhibition at Stamford Contemporary Arts




Rutland artist Lucy Cade will showcase her latest work in a new exhibition at Stamford Contemporary Arts next week.

Lucy's debut solo exhibition of portrait paintings, The Supposition of Her Existence, opens on Monday and runs until Saturday, June 12.

It also runs online at www.stamfordcontemporaryarts.co.uk

There will be a chance to book tours and see the artist at work every Saturday throughout the exhibition by emailing lucy@lucycade.com

It is a comeback show for the Ketton artist who put her easel and brushes to one side for several years to bring up her family.

The former Stamford High School pupil and Ruskin School of Art graduate juggles her time in the studio with a job teaching classics, but hopes to return full-time to her art.

Lucy, who specialises in portraits and landscapes, is also available for commissions.

The Maiden Lane gallery is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.
