A MAN from Exton has been given the Neighbourhood Watch Award by the association’s Rutland branch for his work in the community.

Richard Goodey was given the annual prize for outstanding work to address anti-social behaviour in the village.

Members of the association nominate one resident in the county to receive the award each year for their help in protecting their community.

Rutland police commander Kam Mistry was at the association’s annual general meeting to hand out the award.
